On Friday Naresh Goyals jet airways added another feather to its cap as it became the first Indian private airline to launch flights to china. It started the service which will connect the financial hubs of Mumbai, Shanghai and San Francisco. As the trade between two countries is increased by more than 50% last year to as much as $38 billion so this is the segment that the airline is looking to capture.
Company’s chief commercial officer Mr. Sudheer Raghavan told to media that they are in talks with many Chinese carriers including China eastern airlines, Air China, Shanghai Airlines in order to set up code share agreements to other destinations in china
